Program Specialist

The Program Specialist assists low-income residents through the provision of safe and affordable housing. Among the duties and responsibilities:

• Review and process new applications for Rental Subsidy Housing Program (RSHP),
• Review and process renewal applications,
• Monitor agreement structures,
• Audit property files,
• Process payments,
• Prepare necessary reports and troubleshoot problems as necessary,
• Review property inspector reports and prepare reports regarding physical status of properties,
• Provide outreach and technical assistance on Trust Fund programs,
• Facilitate and monitor Special Initiatives as assigned by the Executive Director and collaborate with partner agencies, on program objectives,
• Prepare documents to be submitted to the Board of Directors that includes research, reports, and recommendations,
• Prepare and monitor agreements,
• Ensure program compliance, and
• Other duties as assigned.

Bachelor’s Degree Required or other extensive experience with HUD 4350.3 compliance. Bilingual (Spanish), preferred.

Note: This is a Hybrid Virtual Position. Staff may need to appear in the office from time to time. Local applicants preferred.
