Program Specialist
The Program Specialist assists low-income residents through the provision of safe and affordable housing. Among the duties and responsibilities:
- Review and process new applications for Rental Subsidy Housing Program (RSHP),
- Review and process renewal applications,
- Monitor agreement structures,
- Audit property files,
- Process payments,
- Prepare necessary reports and troubleshoot problems as necessary,
- Review property inspector reports and prepare reports regarding physical status of properties,
- Provide outreach and technical assistance on Trust Fund programs,
- Facilitate and monitor Special Initiatives as assigned by the Executive Director and collaborate with partner agencies, on program objectives,
- Prepare documents to be submitted to the Board of Directors that includes research, reports, and recommendations,
- Prepare and monitor agreements,
- Ensure program compliance, and
- Other duties as assigned.
Bachelor’s Degree Required or other extensive experience with HUD 4350.3 compliance. Bilingual (Spanish), preferred.
Note: This is a Hybrid Virtual Position. Staff may need to appear in the office from time to time. Local applicants preferred.
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: From $61,000.00 per year
